onsemi and Good Neighbors Philippines Advance Digital Learning at Dueg Elementary School
On June 5, 2026, onsemi and Good Neighbors Philippines visited Dueg Elementary School in Tarlac to strengthen support for the school's digital library initiative, which aims to improve literacy, digital competency, and STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) knowledge among students and educators.
The project seeks to establish a fully operational digital library equipped with internet connectivity and digital learning tools, benefiting 160 students and 15 educators.
As part of the initiative, digital equipment including SMART TVs, laptops, and tablets were delivered to the school. The team also conducted capacity-building activities focused on the STEAM approach to help both students and teachers maximize the use of technology in education.

To further enhance the learning environment, plans for the rehabilitation of the school library were discussed. The improvements will include the installation of air conditioning and internet access, provision of new furniture such as bookshelves, chairs, and tables, and repainting of the library to create a more conducive and engaging space for learning.
The team also met with representatives from onsemi, a key partner in the rehabilitation project, to discuss opportunities for future collaboration and strengthen efforts toward expanding access to quality education.
Through initiatives like this, Good Neighbors Philippines continues to support schools and communities in creating innovative learning spaces that empower children and educators with the skills needed to thrive in an increasingly digital world.
