Ramon Aboitiz Foundation, Inc., Hyundai Motor Philippines, Inc., and Good Neighbors Philippines Unite for a Greener Future

Creating harmonious communities where Filipino children can grow to become good neighbors remains at the heart of Good Neighbors Philippines' mission. Building these communities goes beyond providing opportunities for children, it also means fostering healthy, green, and sustainable environments where future generations can thrive.

This commitment to environmental stewardship is reflected in the Dream Green: Laguluan Tree Park: Hyundai IONIQ Forest, a sustainability initiative dedicated to preserving the environment, including vital coastal ecosystems in the Philippines. More than a tree-planting project, the initiative is envisioned as a lasting legacy that will inspire environmental responsibility and benefit generations to come.

On June 1, 2026, at F1 Hotel Manila, Ramon Aboitiz Foundation, Inc. (RAFI), Hyundai Motor Philippines, Inc. (HMPH), and Good Neighbors Philippines (GNPH) formalized their collaboration for the Dream Green: Laguluan Tree Park: Hyundai IONIQ Forest project through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). The partnership marks a significant step toward the successful establishment and long-term sustainability of the project.

Present during the signing ceremony were Ms. Amaya Cristina Fansler, President and CEO of RAFI; Mr. Jiho Son, President of HMPH; Mr. Dong Chul Park, Country Director of GNPH; Mr. Alvin Cirilo Jonson, Head of the Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office in Lian; Ms. Ma. Sherlyn Barot, Senior Environmental Management Specialist; and Ms. Cecile Capacete, Managing Director of HMPH.

As a project partner, Good Neighbors Philippines will play a vital role in supporting the initiative and ensuring its long-term impact on local communities and ecosystems.

The Laguluan Tree Park: Hyundai IONIQ Forest will stand not only as a powerful symbol of sustainability but also as a living, functional hub for environmental stewardship. Through this partnership, the project aims to create an enduring legacy that can be experienced, protected, and cherished by today's generation and those yet to come.
