
25 May 2022 – Good Neighbors International Philippines (GNIP) partners with Rappler for brand awareness of the organization’s programs and information dissemination of the produced advocacy materials for Inclusive Child-Centered Disaster Risk Reduction or ICDRR Project, a special grant project with UNICEF.


21 March 2022 (San Clemente, Tarlac) – The farmers are one of the first to feel the impact of climate change because of the changing of weather patterns which make it more difficult for them to plant their crops efficiently. Not to mention that flooding and drought greatly affect their livelihood.
With the emerging effects of climate change, Good Neighbors International Philippines and the Municipality of San Clemente, Tarlac has worked towards building resilient communities through climate change adaptation and mitigation, especially for the farmers.

7 March 2022 – Good Neighbors International Philippines (GNIP), in partnership with the Local Government Unit of Prieto Diaz, through the Municipal Health Office and Rural Health Sanitation Inspection Office will support the families in Prieto Diaz to have better sanitation through the provision of sanitary toilets.

22 February 2022 – A whole day interactive module pilot testing of the Inclusive Child Centered Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (ICDRRM) Project was held at the Liga ng mga Barangay Building, Angeles City, Pampanga on January 28, 2022, in coordination with Angeles City Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office (ACDRRMO).

7 February 2022 – The Emergency Response Distribution of Good Neighbors International Philippines (GNIP) in Candijay, Bohol has led the Quick Response Team (QRT) deployed in Bohol a deeper realization of the huge effects of Typhoon Odette to the communities and on the lives of the children, youth, and their families.

22 February 2022 – With Typhoon Odette (Rai) destroying millions of houses, it has also disrupted livelihoods. Most of the affected are people in coastal areas and islands and their livelihood is also affected which leads to difficulty in recovery.
Pres. Carlos P. Garcia(CPG), an island municipality in Bohol, is one of the hardest-hit municipalities. Even over a month, the entire municipality continues to suffer from the havoc of the typhoon.

(UPDATED) BOHOL, 20, January 2022 – On December 16, 2021, Typhoon Odette (Rai) hit Candijay which has caused massive devastation to houses, infrastructure, and agriculture. As of January 18, almost 280,000 (Provincial Government of Bohol) damaged houses were affected in the entire Bohol, and 1,118 of these are in Candijay (RDANA, as of January 5, 2022).







John Justine Antonio is one of the ALS graduates and a sponsored child for almost nine years until today. Despite circumstances in his life, education has been important to him to achieve his dreams.
He has three siblings and is the eldest among them. His mother is the only one supporting their daily need as a fish drying helper because his father is already a senior citizen. They have been financially challenged which made him stop at Grade 8 in junior high school.
