Beyond Education: Building Futures Through Skills and Opportunity
Good Neighbors Philippines, in partnership with the Digital Arts Technology Training Center Inc. (DATTCI) and with funding support from the Korea Financial Industry Foundation (KFIF), officially launched the Philippine Out-of-School Youth Self-Reliance Support Project through a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signing held on June 24, 2026, at the Digital Arts Technology Training Center in Marikina City.

The project is designed to equip out-of-school youth with the skills and competencies needed to pursue careers in the call center industry. Beyond technical training, the initiative aims to create sustainable pathways toward employment, financial independence, and self-reliance.
Currently being implemented in San Isidro, Rodriguez, Rizal, one of Good Neighbors Philippines’ Community Development Project areas, the one-year training program seeks to address economic barriers that often prevent young people from accessing meaningful employment opportunities.

By providing specialized training and practical industry knowledge, the program empowers participants to build careers that can help improve their quality of life and contribute to their communities. The initiative reflects Good Neighbors Philippines’ commitment to creating sustainable solutions that go beyond education and open doors to long-term livelihood opportunities.
The ceremony brought together key representatives from DATTCI and Good Neighbors Philippines, including Ms. Carolyn de Chavez, President of DATTCI; Mr. Anselmo de Chavez, Vice President of DATTCI; Mr. Dong Chul Park, Country Director of Good Neighbors Philippines; and Ms. Visitacion Apostol, Social Development Division Manager of Good Neighbors Philippines.
Through partnerships and shared commitment, Good Neighbors Philippines continues to invest in programs that empower young people, strengthen communities, and create opportunities for a brighter future.
