Amalia Torcuator, a Community Volunteer and a Barangay Nutrition Scholar in Gigmoto CDP, is now fully vaccinated by COVID-19 Vaccine. At first, she also had a fear of getting vaccinated because of the previous issues on anti-dengue, which has claimed children’s lives.

Through her participation in the vaccine orientation, she was convinced to be vaccinated. It was explained to them clearly and thoroughly the positive effects of the COVID-19 vaccines on themselves and others.

Good Neighbors International Philippines donates Safety Equipment to Schools Division Office of Baybay City, Leyte

Baybay City, Leyte – Good Neighbors International Philippines (GNIP), in partnership with Korea International Cooperation Agency, recently donated safety equipment to the Schools Division Office of Baybay City, Leyte, to promote the safety of the 83 employees in the Division and make their office ready for any disaster.

The equipment donated worth 265,610 pesos consists of safety helmets, life vests, whistles, torch lamps with radios, portable folding stretchers, first aid kits, go bags, ropes, rain boots, and an alarm bell.
